It's snowing and I'm chilly.

Classes start tomorrow. Assuming they don't cancel school, which, knowing my school, it's pretty safe to assume they won't. I don't have class until 1:50--

The words never come out right

--so at least I can sleep in tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to keep at least Monday mornings free, and I'll work the rest of the week before class.

Do you ever feel like you have creativity running through your blood, boiling at the surface, ready to burst? But there is no way to let it out. I have so many ideas in my brain, there's poetry and music and a collage of color right beneath the skin. I can't get to it, I can't let it out. When I try, it never satisfies.

So, what do you do to get past the blocks? I sit down to write or whatever it is I'm trying to do, and I get frustrated halfway through and abandon it. I'm not sure how to get past that and just keep going.

if i knew that i'd be done with my book by now. i think that is the $64,000 question for any artist.

i just give up on trying to force it. i usually get up and go do something else totally differet, and come back to it later.
