Hi. I'm alive.

Went to the Ben Folds/Rufus Wainwright concert last night, and it was so so much fun, complete with my favorite Ben song (My Philosophy) and audience participation on Not the Same. Also, Rufus is awesome. He brought out one of his sisters to sing harmony on Hallelujah and it was so freaking gorgeous. I still can't get over how different his singing voice is from his talking voice, though. It's like two different people. Also, Ben Lee opened, and it was fun and Australian. We were a little disappointed that Ben went before Rufus instead of the other way around, and that they didn't sing anything together (I was so hoping for a little Careless Whispers *g*), but all in all it was lots of fun. And we met up with James and Laura after the show, so yay! Good times.

Today I spent a few hours in DC with Aster and Garrett. It was really far too hot for doing touristy things, but we did spend some time at the Botanical Gardens, so that was good. I really don't go into the city nearly enough any more. I really want to go over to Dupont sometime soon for some gay bar-hopping. Maybe when Megan comes home. :)

He's awesome and hilarious and so adorable. Also, maybe the acoustics at Wolf Trap didn't hurt, but the man's voice can fill up a room like nothing I've heard.

I hate to say it, because I find jealousy a deplorable feeling, and yet, I'm SO JEALOUS of you seeing Rufus and Ben!

One day I'll be rich and will travel to foreign land to see them live. And I'll bring my sister with. *vows*

Awww. Clearly, Ben and Rufus are stupid for not just coming to you. It would make everything much easier.

Also, so much love for Debate Camp. I downloaded the S4 torrent the other day cause there are a few I've missed from that season, and instead of watching the other ones I've watched that one three times already. :P

Heh, I did have a little trouble ranking them after the first three. Those are definite, after that, I think everything changes around a lot. :P

I almost put The Midterms on it, but I bumped it off at the last minute. :P But yes! The too big jammies and the stairs and also the psychics. I do love that episode.

And yes, mooch away! :) I was trying to use YSI earlier to upload the Scrubs episode for her, because I'm dumb and it didn't even occur to me to upload it to the webspace I paid for. :P My Internet's been finicky lately anyway, though, so it's probably much better if you give it a shot. :)

I was there, too! I couldn't believe how quickly the three hours went by. Excellent, excellent show. And I love the sound at Wolf Trap. I think it makes everyone sound a smidge better. Were you close enough to read what Rufush had written on the back of his vest?

The show did seem a whole lot shorter than it actually was, you're right. It was good times all around.

Unfortunately, though, I was way in the back up top, so I couldn't make out what was on his vest, but I really wish I'd been able to, cause I'm sure it was hilarious. :P (also, I think Rufush is a nice name *g*)
