I would just like to state for the record that I have done absolutely no work today. None. Not a bit.

I have been sitting here all day reading Veronica Mars reactions and commenting in journals and catching up on emails and doing no work at all. Seriously, they haven't given me a single thing to do all day, and have actually commented on the fact that I must be bored out of my mind with nothing to do. I didn't have the heart to tell them that I was having a great time surfing the Internet, and instead nodded in agreement, and told them about some files I was getting rid of on the computer. Which I actually did do, so I wasn't even lying about anything!

And, to appease the karma gods and Carson Daly, I sent Ashley a little gift today. I'm hoping she appreciated it, since she's been sort of...experiencing the consequences of "enhanced loopy" all day today. Take that for what you will.

(See, you guys can tell I had nothing to do today because of the SPAM!)

I have an interview tomorrow after work at the local Barnes & Noble, which the lady who talked to me implied was only a formality, since I've worked in a B&N before. So I'm hoping this means I'll have some extra income flying my way soon, and also a neutral location in which to meet some more people in Annapolis. Both would be very, very nice. And after the interview Ashley and I are going to go see the new Ewan McGregor movie. I don't have terribly high hopes for it, but I sat through The Island for this man, and I'm thinking this will at least be better than that was. Saturday my mom is hopefully coming up in the morning to bring me some of my stuff, see my new digs and go out to lunch with me, and Saturday night will dedicated to bar-hopping and hopefully some VMars-ing with Ashley and Aster and Chris. All in all, I'm looking forward to this weekened...especially since, if I get this second job, it'll probably be the last one I have all to myself for a good long while.

ETA: I've had a really strong urge to watch Eternal Sunshine all day. I think that's the game plan for tonight. Catharsis, man. I could use it.

dude, seriously, dude

I hate that you have to get a second job. Like, it hurts me thinking about you having to work two jobs when you don't even like one of them. I'm here for you. On a lighter note, you should come to sonar with me tomorrow to see The Bravery, since you introduced them to me anyway. I don't even need to ask you to pick me up! I know, you're shocked (someday I'll have a nice car...someday). <3

Well, what else am I really doing with my time but watch television? At least I'll be getting money, and it'll be in a place I actually like to go, even if it is retail. :p

Ashley and I are going to see the new Ewan McGregor tonight, so no Bravery for me. Besides, you know how much I'd LOVE to drive into Baltimore on a Friday night. :p Have fun, though!

I don't think I'm going to the concert now. I was more excited about it when I first read about it than I am now...plus even though it's only 15$ it's probably more than I should be spending on a band I dont' even know that well:-P. And don't knock the productive power of watching television - good programming makes you exercise your brain and it's cathartic and helps you relax after work. Just don't die or anything please, that would make me not happy.

You should do something fun tonight though, if you aren't going to the concert. :(

And anyway, last year I worked four separate jobs and took four classes and I'm still alive.

Granted, I had a nervous breakdown and nearly didn't graduate, but still. I don't think that had much to do with my schedule. :p

wow, I wish I didn't have to do work today. instead I got up at 8, went to class all nonstop until 5:30, grabbed quick dinner, then dress rehearsal for the play which opens tomorrow, then came back here to do work. I am finally going to bed at 2 am. woo. I'm sure you miss the life of a college student though. I know I will when I'm gone. alright, talk to you later.

Ugh. Sounds like a busy day. I do miss the college schedule, though. I miss staying up later than 11, and I miss always having something to occupy my time.

Anyway, have fun with the play, I hope it goes well! :)
