Tuesday night TV makes Heather happy!
So bets on how long this thing with Kylie will last? Cause it's too adorable. The scheduled kisses made me do the cute girly "awwwww" thing. And that's just not acceptable, so they can't last much longer, right? :P
Okay, but J.D's sitcom fantasy? Was not nearly as hilarious as it could have been, if only because it wasn't nearly ironic enough. The end with Clay singing was pretty good at being ironical, the whole panning around the room at the happy faces thing, and the "nobody cares about James Charles cause he's anti-semitic" joke was funny, but it mostly was just an actual crappy sitcom. And that's not why we love Scrubs, is it? (Also? Does Clay Aiken really have to sing like that? Ugh.)
But it's okay. I still love the Braff. If only because he won a Grammy for making the best mix CD ever. :)
And finally, ladies and gentlemen, Veronica is WRONG WRONG WRONG. That was the one thing that really irked me through watching the other episodes, Veronica always ends up being right (well, I suppose she was totally right with the woman and her boyfriend/stepfather thing, but eh.) If Veronica always ends up getting the bad guy, the show becomes boring. I really wish there'd been more of an impact to her wrong decision to back Rooks, especially since she was so quick to call the girl who's name I forget out for being a liar on such an important issue, but I guess it was enough for me that she didn't end up coming out self-righteously on top for once, even if she did save the day anyway.
The writers really have a hard time fitting Wallace in sometimes, don't they?
And Weevil's rimjob trophy? Is the best thing ever. ;) Well, that and DaddyMars' blue paint. Hee.
Duncan is a little creepy. I'm not the only one who thinks this, right? His whole manic-not-taking-his-drugs-and-being-nice-to-Veronica thing really can't be heading in a good direction.
Logan made my heart ache in this episode. As soon as Veronica put the CD in the computer, I knew Logan was just going to break. And he did and it was wonderful to watch. I loved in the beginning the way he was clutching the lighter when he was telling Veronica that his mother wasn't dead. I love that he still hasn't let go of that thing. Watching the emotional roller coaster that was Logan Echolls in this episode was a thing of beauty. Seriously, yo.
So, in short, Weevil beating up freshmen is fabulous, and Veronica should never be on screen without Logan. Cause yeah.
I bought the Angel S5 DVDs today with the rest of my birthday money. Of course, I did what I always do, and watched the gag reel first. Funniest. Gag reel. Ever. I know there was a site recently where you could download it, so if you don't plan on ever buying the DVDs, at least watch the gag reel, cause it made me ohsohappy. DB is so so much sillier than you could imagine, and there's a whole sequence of Alexis Denisof dancing like a freak. :)
So maybe I'll do some homework, or maybe I'll watch some Angel, or maybe I'll go to bed since I'm still kinda sick. Haven't decided yet.

Date: 2005-02-15 10:09 pm (UTC)There was this one episode where she thought her brother died, so she went down to this weirdo strung-out planet where everyone had painted hair like that and did this whole thing called "taking the stone" where they jumped into this cavern and possibly died.
Yeah. So she painted her hair to look like them.
