I've been wanting to do a Buffy-themed bad horror moviefest for a while now, and I think I've convinced my roommates that with only 99 days til graduation, we gotta do it soon.

So I need to compile a list of all the bad low-grade horror movies that feature Buffy/Angel characters. And I think you guys should help me, cause I can't remember them all. So far we have:

The Grudge
I Know What You Did Last Summer
Psycho Beach Party (which is my favorite ever)
Idle Hands (which I admit I watched solely for the Seth Green factor)
Valentine
Jawbreaker
Wrong Turn
Darkness Falls
They
Scream 2
Pinata: Demon Island
The American Pie trilogy (they're pretty scary when you think about it)
Ravager
Soul Survivors

What else? I know there's got to be a movie featuring Giles or Willow or something. Help me out here, people. Please? :)

American Pie trilogy, but really, American Wedding has the most Alyson Hannigan of all three. So I vote for that one. But its pretty gross.

I think we might go for the American Pie, cause it's pretty scary in itself. ;)

You need Pinata: Demon Island as the Moviefest Opener. It *is* the worst of the worst, but you might get some laughs out of it.

Oh! I've seen that one in Blockbuster. The cover has this weird hologram-y thing on it. I'd forgotten. :P It's definitely got to go on the list.

Apparently, Nick Brendon and Jaime Pressley showed up for filming thinking it was a comedy/spoof, then realized they were supposed to play the material straight. HA!

Looking it up on imdb, I see that Brendon was both associate producer and production manager on that. I would think he'd have known a bit more about the intended mood of the movie.

I think it was mentioned in an interview that Jaime Pressley gave back when it came out, so maybe she was just talking about herself? I thought she said "everyone" in the interview though.

I think it would be even more hilarious if Nick was that involved and still didn't realize it wasn't a spoof. ;)

HEE! I think it was posted at NB.com originally, but I can't find the source interview where Jaime said it. This link kind of references the fact that she thought it was a comedy:

Pinata: Demon Island?!?

Seriously?

That's the best name for a horror movie since Bordellos of Blood!

Wow, but Psycho Beach Party is pretty good, too.

No Soul Survivors? Also, Ravager has Juliet Landau (Dru).
I can't speak for how either of those are, seeing as how I haven't seen them, though.

However, apparently there's a new Crow movie coming out this year, with David Boreanaz. I'm not sure how I feel about that (considering how many Crow movies seem to have been going straight to video, I tend not to have any hopes for them being good).

Did you delete the comment with Darkness Falls and the original Buffy?

DF is already on the maybe-list. I don't if we'll do the original Buffy, just because I like the theme that Buffy actors can only get work on B- or C-rate horror movies. :P

I heard about the Crow movie, but I don't know if it'll be out in time. I forgot about Soul Survivors, I'll add that. That's why I asked for help, silly. :) And I've never heard of Ravager, but I'll add it, too. :)

Yeah, I saw that DF was on the list after I posted that comment. Hence the smashing. The original Buffy movie thing was an afterthought.

The Crow thing probably woundn't count as horror (at least judging by the first one, which I certainly don't consider to be a horror flick; it's not horror if the good guy is the one that's all supernatural-like). I just noticed that and felt it warranted a mention.
