hope is on the way?

I only watched Edwards' speech tonight, but it made me feel strangely optimistic. I wonder how long that will last. :P

I hung out with Chris all night watching Farscape. We started in on S1 recently because she wanted to get in on the fun. I'm hoping we get through it all this week before I get paid so I can send them off this weekend. But we watched through The Flax today so we should be okay. I also like watching all of S1 again after seeing S2. It makes it even more enjoyable for me, knowing what's coming.

Other than that, though, I'm boring and I have nothing to say. As per usual lately.

Today was my sister's seventh birthday. I think this is why I can't have kids. She feels like my kid sometimes more than my sister, and it makes me feel old just thinking that it's been seven years since she was born. And I'm not anywhere near old. Having kids is just a constant reminder of how old you're getting.

Isn't S1 much better in retrospect? There are actually still some things that come into play later. A certain episode REALLY plays into the S3 overall arc, which is just. so. cool.

Really, Farscape has the best continuity ever.

Some of S1 is still kinda eeeeeh for me but I've grown to love others that I slept through the first time around. (And TFAL? So much funnier after you've seen Ben and Claudia's commentary.)
