So I'm organizing the songs for my 90s mix. I have two problems, though. I'm horribly indecisive and can't decide which ones to include and which to leave off, and I can only get my hands on about half of them. But just organizing all this is fun. Even if I never get all the songs together, I guess. :P

Anyway, in case you're interested.

This may stretch to three discs, cause I'm indecisive.
Nirvana - Lithium or Heart shaped Box
Beck - Where it's at or possibly Devil's Haircut/New Pollution
Weezer - Say it ain't so or sweater song
Fiona Apple - Criminal (?)
Smashing Pumpkins - Today or Bullet or Tonight Tonight. Or Disarm. Or Cherub Rock. This might be hard.
Pearl Jam - Better Man or Daughter. Or Black.
Nada Surf - Popular (?)
Blur - that one annoying song (?)
Blind Melon - No Rain
Soundgarden - Spoonman or Black Hole Sun
RHCP - Under the Bridge (?) or Soul to Squeeze
Green Day - Welcome to Paradise or She or Basketcase or Longview. Or When I come around. This might be harder.
EVERCLEAR! - Santa Monica or Father of Mine. Or Everything to Everyone/I will buy you a new life....or Evergleam!
Eve 6 - Inside Out
Cake - Distance (?) or Frank Sinatra
Offspring - Come out and play
R.E.M. - Losing my religion or Man on the Moon or end of the world
Radiohead - Creep (?) or Karma Police
the Lemonheads - Mrs. Robinson
Sublime - Caress me Down/What I Got
Toadies - Possum Kingdom
Rage - Bulls on Parade
Live - I alone
Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy
STP - Vaseline
Foo Fighters - This is a Call or Everlong, or....EVERLONG!
U2 - (?) One or Mysterious Ways or really anything off of Achtung Baby
The Verve - Freshmen
Reel Big Fish - Sell Out
Bosstones - impression that i get
Blink 182 - Dammit or Josie or What's My Name Again
Our Lady Peace - Superman's Dead
Soul Coughing - SuperBonBon or Circles
Bush - Little Things or Everything Zen

"Other" disc
Will Smith - Gettin' Jiggy Wit it
DMB - Crash
Dog's Eye View - Everything Falls Apart
The Cardigans - Lovefool
Ace of Base - The Sign (?)
Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy or Until I hear it from You
Savage Garden - Truly, Madly, Deeply or I Want You
Alanis Morrissette - You Oughtta Know or Ironic
Aqua - Barbie Girl!
Hanson - MmmBob
Brian Setzer - Jump Jive and Wail
Goo Goo Dolls - Name
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Chumbawumba - Tubthumping
Sugar Ray - Fly
Smashmouth - Walking on the sun or something else like that
Counting Crows - Mr. Jones
Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars
Backstreet Boys - Everybody (?) (otherwise known as the "we're so gay" song. heh.
Matchbox Twenty - Push or Long Day or Real World, or maybe Hang since that's my favorite
BNL - One Week (?)
Buckcherry - For the Movies
Ape Hangers - I Don't Wanna Live Today
ben folds - army or brick
Fresh Prince - Summertime
No Doubt - Don't Speak or Just a Girl
Stroke 9 - Little Black Backpack or something else from the album

What am I missing?

Also, in case you are a kind and generous soul who either has the MP3 you can send me, or if I see you regularly, the CD I could borrow, these are the songs I don't have at my disposal:

Nirvana - Lithium
Pearl Jam - Black (or a non-live version of Daughter)
Blind Melon - No Rain (and this absolutely has to be on there)
Soundgarden - Spoonman or Black Hole Sun
RHCP - Under the Bridge (?) or Soul to Squeeze
Offspring - Come out and play
R.E.M. - Losing my religion or Man on the Moon
Radiohead - Creep or Karma Police
Rage - Bulls on Parade
Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy
STP - Vaseline
Foo Fighters - This is a Call
The Verve - Freshmen

Will Smith - Gettin' Jiggy Wit it
Alanis Morrissette - You Oughtta Know or Ironic
Aqua - Barbie Girl!
Brian Setzer - Jump Jive and Wail
Chumbawumba - Tubthumping
Sugar Ray - Fly
Smashmouth - Walking on the sun or something else like that
Dishwalla - Counting Blue Cars

Actually, writing that out makes me feel a lot better, that's way fewer songs than I thought. So yes. Help would be appreciated, or else I'll just have to whore myself out to buy the CDs or something. :P

Yay.

I think I will. Originally I was planning on only two discs, one would be rock and one would be the fluffier stuff, but now I have so much I'll have to break it down farther.

And I wasn't sure about the R.E.M. song. I added it at the last minute without checking the date. I listened to it a lot in high school, so I guess that's why I was confused. :P

ok, here goes. I guess it's not really half, but some of the ones I thought I had I couldn't find. So here's what I do have:
Alanis Morisette- Ironic
Marcy Playground- Sex and Candy
REM- Losing My Religion
Radiohead- Creep
Radiohead- Karma Police
Smashmouth- Walking on the Sun
Soundgarden- Black Hole Sun
The Verve- Freshmen
Red Hot Chili Peppers- Under the Bridge

rightclicksave. If it doesn't work, try again in awhile. (my brother's server tends to have issues)

The ones *I* would choose from some of your indecisive ones...

Weezer - Say it ain't so or sweater song --though I do like both...heck, I like most of their blue album
Smashing Pumpkins - Today or Bullet or Tonight Tonight -- if only because I love the video so. Or Disarm. Or Cherub Rock. This might be hard.
Nada Surf - Popular (?) and NOT "Detachable Penis"?? I kid. I soooo totally kid.
Blur - that one annoying song (?) Song 2?
EVERCLEAR! - Santa Monica or Father of Mine. Or Everything to Everyone/I will buy you a new life....or Evergleam! that's a tough choice, but being from LA I always have had a special fondness for "Santa Monica"
R.E.M. - Losing my religion or Man on the Moon or end of the world REM is one of my favorite bands, so my choices are probably of the lesser known variety...heh
Radiohead - Creep (?) or Karma Police -- though I personally also like Paranoid Android
Foo Fighters - This is a Call or Everlong, or....EVERLONG! Everlong, Everlong, Everlong!--can you tell I like that song?
U2 - One or Mysterious Ways or really anything off of Achtung Baby
Blink 182 - Dammit or Josie or What's My Name Again There was another Blink182 song I liked, but it's totally slipping my mind. Dododo.

Actually, that is helpful. And I'd forgotten about Detachable Penis...I don't think I have that one and I do have Popular handy. And I think I am going to end up going with Say It Ain't So.

Thanks for the input. :)

eee. I love it.

Out of the songs you don't have, I've got: Nirvana - Lithium, Offspring - Come out and play, R.E.M. - Losing my religion AND Man on the Moon, Marcy Playground - Sex and Candy (I think I have this one), Alanis Morrissette - You Oughtta Know AND Ironic (I'd choose You Ougtta Know BTW),
Aqua - Barbie Girl (I have this on MP3, I have NO IDEA why), Chumbawumba - Tubthumping, Sugar Ray - Fly

I could actually use any and/or all of those songs. Except Ironic, cause I think I probably will go with You Oughtta Know, cause I think it'll fit the whole thing better.

I'll send you a copy if you want. I'm getting all kinds of excited about this. ;)
