Tonight's Angel

It made me so very much the happy Heather. That's what a good episode of Angel looks like. Alexis Denisof absolutely broke my heart in this episode, from the bumbling Dork!Wes to shooting his father nine or ten times to the tear in his eye when Fred left with Knox. The man is a hell of an actor. And that episode was so wonderfully written.

And oh, Lord. Spike's line about the Oedipal Mommy thing? I needed that in the worst way. I haven't laughed that hard in weeks.

I can't wait to see where they're going with the whole mindswipe thing, and next week with Dru and flashbacks and yay! I'm excited.

Plus, you all should have seen sihaya09 dance for joy when Wes pulled out the slow-mo guns. Highly amusing.

Today was a yucky yucky yucky yucky day. But Angel made it all better. Funny how that works. I'm going to go do some things and hopefully get to sleep soon. I'm beyond exhausted.



Oh oh oh! And, lauranobaka offered the BEST ICON EVER up for sharing. So I'm using it! Yay!!!

I think, for me, it was so completely random and unexpected, and the silly just kept going. I loved it. ;)
