I beg to differ--Veronica took Weevill and the evidence into Sheriff Lamb--he blew her off--she asked Weevill to "try it her way"--the system failed her (as it so often does)--and Thumper killed Felix--eye for and eye--it is very old testament, but not inconsistant with Western moral values (and our legal system)--we don't have a death penalty for blackmail or sexual promiscuity--Lilly didn't deserve to die. Veronica isn't amoral--she is a teenager.
