Yeah, my thought is that it would almost have to be Duncan. At first I was totally not on board with Veronica going back to Duncan (and I'm still a little squicked out by it because of the whole weird RAPE THING), but if Veronica really is trying to regain some sort of "09er status" or at least that life back like she's being accused of doing, then maybe she really would go back to Duncan just to see if she could have any peace. I just think it's strange that we won't get to see that thought process play out on screen, we just kind of have to accept it as fact.
I just don't see RT making Veronica and Logan's reconciliation that easy. And I really don't see him not letting the audience watch it happen. That's cheating and we wouldn't like it.
Also, this scenario for Logan being at the door is way more interesting than just making it some sort of lovetrianglecliffhanger thing. Especially if Veronica's hiding him from Leo and the sheriff's department.
