(no subject)

I've been really horrible with responding to comments and commenting on people's posts and generally being a member of the human race and contacting other humans the last few days. I've basically spent my weekend between my bed and my desk, watching Family Guy and Sex and the City and doing random stuff online. I've left my room about three times for a total of less than 45 minutes in the last two days for reasons other than to use the bathroom. It's sad. Yesterday I didn't even get dressed. Today I had to, because strange men knocked on my door at 830 this morning to install new windows in my suite.

This is sad. I hope this isn't what the whole summer is going to be like. I just feel overwhelmingly isolationist right now. Can you even use that word in reference to individuals?

I'm hoping it's just because I have nothing to do and too much time to sit and think. About stuff. I don't think this 9-5 job thing is for me. I'll have to do something that I will have to bring home with me, that I'll have to do on the weekends and evenings and that isn't so set in stone and boring. Something that changes all the time. As stressful as all that is, I don't think I'm happy unless I'm doing.

Why is Conan in reruns so much lately? Some days it's new and some days it's old, and don't they usually do it in week-long reruns rather than sporadic like this?

Blargh. Work at 930 tomorrow. I'm gonna go curl up now.
