mmmm...toasty

It's going to be spring soon. I can feel it in the air.

I drove home on Friday with the windows down and WHFS blaring. They were having one of those promotional weekends and--get this--playing nothing but good music. Every weekend should be 'Rock of the 90s' weekend. I spent the last two days driving through my neighborhood, up and down the streets of my hometown, actually missing it all. It's funny what a little familiar music can do.

I didn't end up going to the wedding I was supposed to go to, but I did visit my grandparents and I got lots of dishes and a toaster and all that fun domestic stuff. I also got to see my Megan! I was driving by her house on my way to my grandparents, and I saw her walking down her driveway with an armload of clothes. So I swerved over and ran out of the car for my Meggie hug. We didn't get to talk for very long, but I got to see her so yay!

I cooked today. I was told I'm going to make a lovely housewife. :P But I made stuffed shells and salad for my mom and sisters and grandparents. It turned out nicely, and I even got to bring a pan back with me.

I have a lot of homework to finish, I hate that I'm falling behind already. I don't have class until 3 tomorrow, though, so I should be able to catch up then. I think I'll go finish some reading now and get some sleep.

Oh, and? I bought the best blanket EVAR the other day. You are jealous.

So yes. I have a writing assignment due in an hour and a half, and I've barely started. This one is pretty easy, it's just physical description of someone you know, but still. Class is at 3! I haven't started!

I am Queen of Procrastination today.

I also haven't finished my reading for Atwood and Woolf. I was doing so well with the first two books, and now I'm falling into old patterns. I suppose it doesn't matter, I never talk in class anyway. :/

Why aren't you people updating more so I have something else to do besides my homework??? :P
