evergleam1. There was a meeting for seniors tonight. I think my friends and I have decided to blow off all the senior week activities and go to the Jersey shore instead. That's the tentative and hopeful plan anyway. I can't think of anything more rewarding after four years of college than a few days on the beach.
2. More new Fiona Apple tracks from Extraordinary Machine! In case you want it and didn't know it was out there:

I'm trying to get my hands on the other leaked tracks from EM, but until then, here you are. The songs are a little tinny because they're recorded from a radio show in Seattle. Apparently some guy got his hands on a copy of the album and has been leaking songs every night.
3. I have to figure out my paper topic for senior sem before Sunday at midnight. Not a happy thing. Vonnegut and narrators and women, that's all I've got. :(
4. I had a meeting with Michael Dirda today about how I think the class is going. He's met with all of us in turn, and after today I don't think he really likes me. He made it a point to say he's noticed that I always look tired in class, that he thinks I probably work too much, and that I never laugh at his jokes. He's not funny, and I can't stop working, and the class makes me tired. So meh.
5. It's Friday tomorrow, though. I'm going with about half the campus to see Chris in the show, and then I don't know. I'm hoping I don't have to work on Saturday so I can spend the weekend alternating between goofing off and getting my work done. I don't want to have to go anywhere involuntarily this weekend. We'll see how that goes.
6. Ahhh, but spring break awaits in just a few short days. Just gotta make it til then. Sucks though, cause I have no idea what I'm doing or where I'm going. I really really don't want to go home. I may go talk to the RLC tomorrow and see if I can't get a break extension, just in case. Grar.
