Kate Winslet is so so pretty. I'm gonna cry big fat emo tears when she doesn't win. (Although, how much would you hate to have the Titanic music forever playing when you step on a stage?)

Chris Rock is the best host they've had in awhile, if only because he is so good at making people squirm. So yay for that.

Also? We were talking earlier about how funny it will be if The Aviator gets like six million Oscars and loses on Best Director. Scorcese will burn the place down. Seriously. ;)

Edit 1: Dude! They were totally playing the Land Before Time music during that one tribute to the film restoration guy. DUDE! I loved that movie as a kid. Little Foot rocked my world.

Edit 2: Freaking Hilary Swank. Grrrrr.

Edit 3: YOU GUYS! MY MOVIE WON! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! I totally was expecting it to lose, and oh em gee I love Charlie Kaufman for he is adorable. LOVE!

Oh and also? My favorite moment of the night was the shot of Morgan Freeman clinging to his trophy and winking at the camera. So cute!

It's gorgeous. I love the way all the tiers are stacked on top of each other like that so it seats a ton of people without being incredibly huge.
