The other day Christina and I were watching TV, and a commercial for that '90s CD thing that's way too expensive came on. I was talking about how I wanted it, when Chris brought up the valid point that it would cost even more with shipping and all that added to it. And it occurred to me that I could make my very own Ultimate '90s Mix without spending $30. And it would have better songs on it, too!

Only problem is, I need songs.

I have a basic idea of what I want to include. But I was wondering if you wonderful, excellent, intelligent, friends of mine who grew up in the '90s would be willing to donate ideas for my mix CD?

I've been itching to make one since all the cool people on my friendslist have been making them recently, I just didn't have good ideas for what to do. But! '90s music! That's my stuff, yo.

Nirvana (you could use smells like teen spirit but honestly, aren't we sick enough of it yet?)
Pearl Jam-- Jeremy
oh and just for kicks Will Smith has to get jiggy with it... you know, cuz it was the nineties...
ooh Shania Twain-- Man! I feel like a woman
Bon Jovi-- It's my life (unexplainable, but I somehow adored this song when it came out...)
Savage Garden-- To the moon & back, truly madly deeply (90's savage garden makes me smile, nostalgia probably)
of course the timing could be off, and the 1990s were, in my opinion, certainly not music's finest hour (of course that could also have to do with the fact that my music taste sucked at the time)

And I never would have thought to put Will Smith on there, but that song was a huge part of my freshmen year for various reasons, so thank you for reminding me!

And I'm thinking I should put Nirvana on there, but I don't know what song to put that I'm not sick of. :) I have a friend who is...a huge fan...shall we say, and I'll ask her I think.

Cool. Lithium has been the popular choice for a Nirvana song, and I think I might just have to include it.

The hardest part will be trying to decide which Everclear songs to add. Cause Santa Monica should go on, but what else? i'll be tempted to put nothing but Everclear on. :P

But Santa Monica definitely. And if I put 90s U2 on, it will be All That You Can't Leave Behind. Though that might have come out in 2000, I can't remember. :P
