OMG. Leo's all "I know he's in here" and then they pan to the shot of Logan with the knife? It's so totally going to be Logan at the door. Eeeeeee! Yay!
Also, Urine Trouble yay! Go Ashley on guessing that it would have to do with drug tests and stuff. And what's this about an 09er boyfriend? I severely don't like the idea of Veronica having the boyfriend already, and the audience not getting to see the build up. Grrr. Unless, I guess, it's Duncan and it means they're going to break up really quickly. Yuck.

I'm a bit WTF?! at the boyfriend thing too, and as far as I see it there are only two options: Logan or Duncan ('cause what other 09er would she be dating? Dick?) I'm gonna guess Duncan and hope that things play out like I thought they would when I wrote that "I hope it's Duncan at the door" post.

I just don't see RT making Veronica and Logan's reconciliation that easy. And I really don't see him not letting the audience watch it happen. That's cheating and we wouldn't like it.
Also, this scenario for Logan being at the door is way more interesting than just making it some sort of lovetrianglecliffhanger thing. Especially if Veronica's hiding him from Leo and the sheriff's department.

I was also thinking about Veronica being back in the 09er circle, dating one of their own, not working as a detective anymore... Huh? Does this sound like the girl we all came to know and love last season? I loved that Veronica much more than v1.0 and I think the writers do too. I can't imagine anyone finding v1.0 fascinating enough to actually write an entire show about.
So here's what I think will happen: Veronica and Duncan have gotten back together and are happy. Blah, blah, blah and yawn. Then Veronica takes this case for Wallace's and Meg's sakes. She starts getting back into the detective business bit by bit, while at the same time trying to help Logan because she realizes at some point that something's fishy. Then, about mid-season probably, she also realizes that she's not who she was and Duncan is too much a part of that old life. Bye-bye Duncan. And then the mystery and V/L play out during the second half. Much like season 1, in fact. =)

Because I find it hard to reconcile the Veronica we know in S1 to a Veronica that would want to get back together with Duncan. But I almost think that if her mother hadn't let her down yet again, she would have had enough fight left in her to realize, without actually dating him again, that Duncan and that life weren't what she wanted anymore. It's like, instead of being totally naive about that facet of her life, she chooses to turn a blind eye to her situation with Duncan instead, also giving her a chance to be avoidance girl when it comes to Logan, again.
So yeah. It'll probably take her awhile to realize that she can't fight who she's become, and then hopefully we'll get back on track with V/L. ;)

I hope it is up on UPN soon or in a community or something.
But seriously, I was right on the Urine thing??? Thank goodness it wasn't my UTI theory that came true.
MUST SEE PROMO
I must admit, I'm rooting for it to be Logan at the door....but secretly, I wish it was Sheriff Lamb.
I seriously hope Veronica doesn't get back with Duncan, I hate that guy. Duncan is just annoying...grrrrr

I just don't know right now. That whole new boyfriend thing is messed up. I mean, I know she's had the whole summer, so it would make sense that we'd catch up with her in real time and learn about the past in flash backs, but I'm still confused and frightened!
Also, she better ditch that job and get back to private detecting! Unless Keith is back on the police force and Mars Investigations is no more. Can you hear the fear in my voice?
Also, also? After watchint that I was thinking it was DEFINITELY Logan at the door, but will still don't know for sure that those aren't scene's from a later point. I just don't know!
Also, also, also? If we are going to learn about things in flashbacks, I'm happy I found out about it ahead of time because I was so not expecting that.

I'm thinking there'll be a lot of changes next season and we'll get to see them work out how things really weren't so great before and they'll (hopefully) stop wishing for their past lives to come back to them.
And you're totally freaking me out with Keith being back on the force! Nooooo! Can you imagine not having Mars Investigations caps? With those gorgeous windows and that lush lighting? Say it ain't so!
For the first time I'm thinking that it's Logan at the door and that when Rob Thomas described it as a...what did he say? Romantic plotline? ...he really meant that it was someone who she'd been involved with, but there was nothing romantic about the person being at the door.
Is it the 28th yet?

I don't know why I didn't expect a lot of changes. I should have. I guess it comes from not wanting things to change while at the same time wanting a new season!
I just don't know how I'll feel about how all the relationships get dealt with. Veronica may have had the whole summer to change but we have not!
Can you imagine not having Mars Investigations caps? With those gorgeous windows and that lush lighting?
Oh, nooo nooo noooooo! I can't even think that! I just can't!!! The only positive would be Lamb and Keith working together again. But that's still not good enough!
I hadn't heard there was a romantic plotline. I'm only watching the promo's. I haven't read anything about the season. I actually regret a few of the things I've read in comments lately, but nothing serious. But I want romance with Logan! He must know that's what we all want!
IT'S NOT THE 28th YET! AND THAT IS SO UNFAIR!
Also? I just finished downloading BSG (with miniseries) but now I have no desire to watch it.

I hadn't heard there was a romantic plotline.
After the finale RT gave an interview where he said something to that effect, which is why Wallace was ruled out so early on.
But I want romance with Logan! He must know that's what we all want!
I'm assuming you mean RT? I think he knows Logan is popular, but more importantly, I think he wants L/V. I mean, this is just from watching the show, so I can't swear to it, but the way he's writing it makes it seem like that's the relationship he's interested in. The funny thing is that in fandom you often are in a bubble and there's really no telling what the general public will think and feel. They could all be huge VD 'shippers and we'd be none the wiser. Because really? How would we know?
Also? I just finished downloading BSG (with miniseries) but now I have no desire to watch it.
Unfortunately the mini is also somewhat slow. But at least there's an apocalypse! And hot pilots! And, and, and... I've got nothing, I think the promo melted my brain.

Actually, I loved the miniseries. Like, loved it! I swear I had actual thoughts about it but I seem to have lost them all. Just, yeah. I loved it. The music, the way it looked, the characters. And I didn't really have any expectations, despite the fact that you guys all seem to like it. If anything, I was expecting to not like it, though I'm not sure why. I'm going to see about marathoning it today, but I'm not so good at marathoning. I always burn out after four or five hours :)
no subject
And hey, good thing about BSG? A 4-5 hour marathon means you watch half the episodes! =)
no subject
And if you loved the mini then I'm almost afraid of what your reaction to season 1 will be.
I swear I don't love every show I watch. I know it must seem that way, but I swear there are a lot of shows I don't like!
And hey, good thing about BSG? A 4-5 hour marathon means you watch half the episodes!
Not if you include the mini series in that marathon! It was what, almost three hours on it's own!
Okay, now lunch. Then episode two.
P.S. Have you ever read Ender's game?
P.P.S. Just out of curiosity, do you prefer "Jen", "Jenn" or "Jennifer"?

The problem is I have a whole bunch of stuff on my hard drive that I still haven't finished watching. I still haven't seen the end of S2 Arrested Development. :P And I downloaded the second part of the Prison Break premiere, and there was something else, too, but now I can't remember. And it SUCKS cause now I have no time to watch anything. GRRRRR working. GRRRR needing sleep.
But yes. BSG. I should watch it? Everyone else I know and love seems to love it. ;)

Yeah, I've had all night to let it sink in and the boyfriend thing is still irking me. Even if it is Duncan, I don't like the idea of the audience just having to accept it as the season starts up.
I think it won't take her long to get back to the PI thing. I'm hoping anyway. Especially if she's got to start out helping Wallace and Meg, she'll get right back into the swing of things (I hope!). I think, too, that even if her dad joined the sheriff's department again, she'd still do the PI thing.
I figured we'd have to learn about a lot of stuff through flashbacks once we knew that S2 was going to start with senior year beginning, but I didn't think it would be this much. Ahhhhh!
It's September, though! Only 27 days left! :P
