I know, two posts in one month! WHAT IS HAPPENING?! But my weekend activities definitely merited another post. Because! This weekend! We made a gingerbread TARDIS. It is basically the greatest ever.





Okay, but first - me in my new teefury shirt, in front of our inspiration. Festive Santa hat just looks like fuzz on my forehead. Awesome.




We spent a lot of time getting that blue just right. ;)








I don't have a Ten. We decided if you squint very hard, Captain Mal almost looks like the Doctor? Brown hair, swooping coat, you know. It works.


It's traveling through the vortex, you see.


Why yes, our Christmas tree has a Jayne hat topper. Behold our super nerdiness.

Oh my god, I've seen recipes/instructions online for Gingerbread TARDIS's, and I can't believe you actually made one! This looks fantastic!

PS. Sorry to randomly pop into your journal, but I somehow ended up lurking your icons and I noticed that we have quite a few fandoms in common (Doctor Who, Community, The Office, Chuck, Inception, Sherlock, and my new love Parks & Rec)-- friends? :D

Thanks! We mostly winged it on this one, and we definitely by the end didn't even bother with giving the other sides texture. As you as you were only looking at the front, it was awesome. :)
