It was totally like The Ring, and lot because the whole premise was based on creepy kids and long haired ghosts. :P

I think I saw the newer version of The Shining, didn't it have that guy from Wings in it? Some of it was better in that it made more textual sense, but mostly it was lame. I like that the original Shining is scary, I just usually don't make it to the end anymore cause it's so long and I don't care about the part where he finally starts chasing his family down, cause I think his wife totally deserves to bite it. She's annoying. :P
